TULUM RUINS & TURTLE SNORKELING BEHIND TULUM RUINS 🐢🐢🐢🌴🌴🌴
The archeological site of Tulum, an ancient Mayan port overlooking the crystal waters of the Caribbean, is a must-see on a visit to the Yucatan. Enjoy a detailed historical tour just as the site opens, when it is virtually empty and the morning light over the ocean is a treat.
Known as the jewel of the Mayan Riviera, Tulum’s old walls hold the secrets to a mysterious past of sun-gods, sea-trade, ritual and ancient tradition. The Temple of the Wind, Temple of the Frescoes and the magnificent Castillo are testimony to the growing prosperity Tulum enjoyed just as the Spanish ships pulled in from overseas, ending the development of this fascinating culture.
We follow up with a visit to an exclusive boat snorkeling adventure
This snorkeling tour includes a boat tour from the beach to the Mayan ruins, we sail in front of the main castle of the ruins and there we stop to appreciate the magnitude of the Mayan empire.
Then we continue sailing to the coral reef in front of Tulum beach, this reef belongs to the second largest barrier reef in the world.
Sea turtles live in this area of the reef, so we jumped into the water in a shallow area to snorkel with turtles.
On this boat snorkeling tour we provide all the equipment for safe swimming such as a vest, visor, breathing tube, fins and the captain will be on the boat with the guide, who will be assisting the passengers at all times.
